At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.\nWe are presently seeking a QA Technician that will perform various optical fabrication processes including but not limited to beveling, milling, blocking, grinding, polishing, curve generation, and inspection/measurements.\nMain responsibilities:\nPerform visual inspections of components and finished products using established inspection criteria.\nUse measurement and inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, microscopes, and other quality control tools.\nConduct inspections in controlled environments, including dark-room or enclosed \"black box\" inspection stations as required.\nIdentify, document, and communicate product defects, damage, or nonconforming conditions.\nFollow work instructions, inspection plans, procedures, and quality standards.\nHandle optical components and sensitive products using proper techniques to prevent contamination, damage, or degradation.\nRecord inspection results accurately and maintain traceable quality records.\nVerify product conformance to drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria.\nSupport incoming, in-process, and final inspections as needed.\nParticipate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities.\nMaintain inspection equipment and ensure equipment is calibrated and suitable for use.\nWork closely with Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality concerns.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and controlled work environment.\nFollow all safety procedures and company policies.\nOther duties as assigned\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n1+ years of experience with quality inspection, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.\nExperience using precision measuring equipment preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.\nBasic computer skills for data entry and record maintenance.\nExperience working in a regulated or quality-focused environment preferred.\nBenefits start day 1: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, PAID Maternity/Paternity leave, Tuition Reimbursement, Long-term and Short-term disability\nPay Range: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour, depending on experience.\nOur facility in Boulder, Colorado has key functions in Research and Development, Operations, Production, and other disciplines.
