Oversee task planning, prioritize critical activities, and ensure smooth daily operations.\nImplement engineering controls and training programs to achieve a zero-incident safety culture, including laser safety risk assessments and audits.\nEnsure timely closure of RFQs by tracking and reporting turnaround time (TAT).\nLead customer communications during escalations and provide progress updates to management.\nEnsure operational readiness and successful project handover.\nDrive Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles to maximize quality and yield at every stage of production.\nDrive testing strategies, process development, and design reviews for new products.\nJob Requirements:\nMaster's or Bachelor's Degree in Optical, Materials, Mechanical, Precision Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment, preferably within an optical or laser manufacturing cleanroom environment.\nProven experience in team leadership within mechanical, optical, laser, or fiber product development or manufacturing in a clean environment.\nDemonstrated success in process improvement projects using Design of Experiments (DOE), 8D, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.\nHands-on experience with Design for Manufacture (DFM), New Product Introduction (NPI), and process development.\nExperience in commissioning test and metrology systems for laser and fiber assembly products.\nFamiliarity with implementing and maintaining process control measures and quality assurance systems.\nStrong practical knowledge of root cause analysis, 8D problem-solving, and developing solution concepts using Design of Experiments (DOE).\nExperience interfacing with customers and leading escalations or technical discussions.\nExperience working in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS9100 environments.\nKnowledge of RGA process controls is an advantage.\nProfessional certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Quality Management (e.g., ASQ CQE or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) are advantageous.\nProficiency in stringent cleaning requirements, preferably in contamination control for semiconductor and precision parts manufacturing.\nExpertise in product realization, manufacturing readiness, and fiber processing techniques.\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.\nStrong project management skills.\nKnowledge and experience in laser and fiber assembly will be an advantage.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nCompetent in preparing and maintaining documentation required for the building and testing of precision clean assemblies for semiconductor and life science applications.\nKnowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.\nN3 Laser Licence will be an
