At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.\nX\nWe are presently seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician, on weekend Shift, to support existing equipment and projects. You must provide complete maintenance reports to ensure continuity between shifts. You must be flexible regarding the responsibilities of the equipment you have under your responsibility.\nYour responsibilities:\nFollow written procedures or oral directions for preventative maintenance;\nWork on electronic equipment and perform moderately complex troubleshooting and have the ability to read electronic schematics;\nAssist in preventive maintenance process improvements projects;\nSet priorities based on project deadlines and job requirements with approval for major changes;\nReport difficulties, take corrective action and receive or provide technical assistance as appropriate;\nAnalyze data, identify trends and suggest improvements to anomalies;\nTrain and guide less experienced technicians.\nYour qualifications:\nPossess College Diploma (DEC) in Electronic/Electrotechnics, or other relevant work experience in industrial electronics;\nAbility to read and interpret designs, engineering sketches and checklists;\nAbility to utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments;\nAbility to work with minimum support and supervision;\nAbility to learn about new equipment and new technologies;\nExperience supporting manufacturing equipment;\nExperience working with vacuum equipment;\nGood manual dexterity and visual acuity;\nComfortable working with various manual, air, or electrically operated tools and jigs;\nCapable of wearing a respirator mask to execute certain tasks;\nExcellent oral and written communication skills are essential;\nFrench is required and a functional level of technical English;\nExperience in electronics equipment, semiconductor or cleanroom are assets.\nX\nOur hiring criteria meets the requirements of the OLF.\nAll applicants must comply with the CGP (Controlled Goods Program).\nEqual Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer\nMinorities/Females/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation\nExcelitas is seeking leaders and innovators to join our global team!
