At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.\nWe are presently seeking an Operations Project Manager that will create and execute the production planning strategy in conjunction with Production and Customer Service to meet customer demands within the constraints of the capacity plan.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProject Planning and Execution:\nDevelop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.\nLead project teams, providing direction, motivation, and support throughout the project lifecycle.\nMonitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.\nStakeholder Management:\nEngage with stakeholders to define project requirements, expectations, and deliverables.\nCommunicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.\nManage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts or concerns as they arise.\nBudget and Resource Management:\nDevelop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are used effectively and efficiently.\nCoordinate with resource managers to secure necessary personnel and resources for project execution.\nTrack and report on project expenditures and ensure cost control measures are in place.\nQuality Assurance:\nEnsure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.\nConduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure project objectives are achieved and deliverables are of high quality.\nLeadership and Team Development:\nMentor and support junior project managers and team members, fostering professional growth and development.\nPromote a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging effective communication and teamwork.\nContinuous Improvement:\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements, spinoff and replication projects and implement best practices in project management.\nConduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and enhance future project performance.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field\nExperience:\nMinimum of 8-10 years of project management experience, in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3-5 years in a senior project management role.\nProven track record of managing large, complex projects successfully.\n Certifications:\nProject Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred.\nAdvanced certifications (e.g., Program Management Professional (PgMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)) preferred.\nSkills:\nStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nAdvanced project management skills, including proficiency in project management software and tools.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nBenefits start day 1: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Holiday Pay, PAID Maternity/Paternity leave, Tuition Reimbursement, Long-term and Short-term disability.\nPay Range: $100,000 - $125,000 depending on experience.\nExcelitas is a global technology leader with more than 7,500 employees, focused on delivering market-driven solutions to fulfill the illumination, optical, detection and imaging needs of OEMs and end-users across the biomedical, semiconductor, industrial, consumer products, scientific, security, defense and aerospace sectors.\nENGAGE with us today and make your contribution to the future!
