For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.\nIn addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.\nYour Tasks\nEvaluate customer requests for advanced optical coatings and complex optical components from a technical perspective\nDevelop, analyze, and simulate complex optical components for advanced optical systems and modules\nDesign and optimize optical components with regard to performance and functionality\nDevelop and enhance manufacturing methods and processes in the areas of grinding, lapping, polishing, cleaning, coating, fine cementing, and optical bonding\nYour Profile\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Optics, Photonics, Physics, or a related field\nSeveral years of professional experience in the field of complex optical components\nExperience with optical glass processing as well as cleaning, coating, fine cementing, and optical bonding processes\nKnowledge of optical component design, ideally using Zemax or similar tools\nExperience with optical metrology and the specification of optical performance requirements\nExcellent written
