Main responsibilities:
- Perform lapping, polishing, washing, and inspection of optical components according to SOP and quality requirements.
- Operate Coating equipment, conduct basic troubleshooting, and ensure process compliance.
- Carry out in-process quality checks and maintain production records.
- Ensure proper handling of optics, housekeeping, and compliance with EHS standards.
- Monitor the coating process and provide essential guidance to coaters attending other machines.
- Support productivity, yield improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform the spectral measurements according to the required specifications by choosing proper template.
- Undertake additional production responsibilities as and when required.
Requirements.
- Higher Nitec, Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Min 1-2 year2 of experience with manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Optics polishing or Thin Film manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Ability to read, understand and provide training on SOPs, work instructions, technical drawing.
- Clear understanding of product quality and systems regulations and requirements.
- Good interpersonal skills and attitude.
- Flexible to work overtime as required.
- Must be able to work in rotating shift pattern or 12 hour shift.
- Proficiency in general Microsoft application including MS word and Excel.
