You will guide project execution, ensuring alignment with client needs while upholding best practices in software development. Your ability to communicate effectively and lead within an Agile environment will be crucial to delivering impactful solutions. \nResponsibilities: \nLead the design and development of software solutions for commercial and government clients using Python and Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. \nProvide mentorship and technical guidance, fostering professional growth within the team. \nCollaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives. \nEnsure best practices in coding, architecture, and Agile methodologies are followed. \nConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintainhigh code quality. \nAdvocate for the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes. \nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across teams and projects. \nQualifications: \n6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong technical foundation. \nExpertisein Python and Python frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI. \nExperience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). \nStrong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation. \nStrong knowledge in object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, and testing strategies. \nStrong knowledge of database design, ORMs like SQLAlchemyor Django, and SQL/NoSQL databases. \nStrong knowledge inimplementing secure programming practices. \nProficiencyin Git-based workflows and software development lifecycle management. \nExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. \nAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nExperience leading teams and mentoring developers in a consulting or technical environment. \nPreferred Qualifications: \nUnderstanding of trunk-based development practices such as using feature flags. \nKnowledge in instrumenting an application for observability. \nExperience with DevOps and Continuous Delivery tools like Jenkins, Harness, GitLab CI/CD, AWS Lambda, or Terraform. \nFamiliarity using GenAIproductivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and GitHub Copilot. \nFamiliarity with data engineering tools (Pandas, NumPy, Spark, Airflow). \nThis range represents the minimum and maximum base salary that Excella reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top or bottom of the range. \nYour pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus in addition to the base salary. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of shared firmwide goals and objectives as determined by Excella’s Executive Team.
