Our analysts are team-oriented, collaborative, and focus on delivering value in everything we do. We use agile methods to analyze, define, and document business requirements for software solutions that align with organizational goals and help our clients achieve their desired outcomes. We support our clients in their digital product needs - from vision to roadmap to execution. \nResponsibilities:\nDevelop a thorough understanding of the business context and objectivesby eliciting and analyzing requirements from relevant stakeholders (business users, data engineers, data scientists, etc.). \nOperationalize business questions using data. \nDemonstrate understanding of relational databases, data architecture, and data modeling. \nBuild complex SQL statements to answer business questions. \nDesign conceptual data models, entity relationship diagrams, and business process models. \nTransform and cleanse data using tools such as R, SQL, or Python. \nInterpret, understand, and explain data insights to clients. \nManage and create dashboards (drag and drop) for storytelling of regular information reports and ad-hoc requests. \nBuild trust and respect, establishrelationships, and develop rapport with technical and non-technical team members. \nDocument Data Analysis processes and outcomes. \nUtilize industry or subject matter expertise(e.g., finance, employment, hospitality, web analytics). \n Qualifications:\n3+ years of experience in IT or a related industry. \nIntermediate to advanced SQL skills. \nExperience working with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. \nPreferred experience with cloud analytics products such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure. \nPreferred knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets. \nStrong analytical aptitude and ability to structure complex or undefined business problems. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills; ability to report and present findings to varying stakeholders. \nHands-on experience using tools to help clients make data-driven decisions. \nKnowledge and practice of core Agile values and principles is a plus. \nInitiative to learn new strategies and trends to continue to educate self analytically, technically, and technologically. \nIntermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. \nThis range represents the minimum and maximum base salary that Excella reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top or bottom of the range. \nYour pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus in addition to the base salary. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of shared firmwide goals and objectives as determined by Excella’s Executive Team.
