Consolidated salary\n Our client, a credit-only microfinance company offering business loans and payroll advances, seeks an experienced Credit Officer to manage credit operations, recover overdue loans and maintain a healthy loan portfolio.\n Key Responsibilities\n Monitor loan accounts, follow up on repayments and recover overdue amounts.\n Negotiate repayment arrangements and follow up on customer commitments.\n Reduce non-performing loans and restore overdue accounts to performing status.\n Review loan applications and recommend approval in line with credit policies.\n Conduct customer verification KYC and maintain complete loan documentation.\n Coordinate recovery activities with legal service providers, credit reference bureaus, debt collectors and auctioneers.\n Maintain accurate physical and digital customer records.\n Prepare regular reports on collections, overdue accounts and portfolio performance.\n Requirements\n Degree or diploma in Credit Management, Business or a related field.\n At least 2 years’ experience in credit operations, preferably in microfinance or financial services.\n Proven experience in debt recovery and loan portfolio management.\n Good understanding of credit risk and recovery procedures.\n Ability to meet collection targets.\n Strong negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.\n High integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.\n Proficiency in Microsoft
