DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
The Senior Inside Sales Specialist will join the Ignition sales team, supporting the development of the company’s business through its network of partners and customers in the cybersecurity and technology markets.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Senior Inside Sales Specialist will play a key role in managing commercial opportunities, supporting partners throughout the sales process and ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.
The role will focus on building strong relationships with partners, identifying business opportunities and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to drive sales growth.
As a Senior Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Manage and develop relationships with assigned partners, acting as a trusted point of contact for their day-to-day commercial needs.
Prepare, manage and follow up on commercial quotations, proposals and pricing requests for cybersecurity products, solutions and services.
Proactively follow up on sales opportunities and support partners throughout the complete sales cycle, from opportunity identification to order closure.
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of existing accounts and partner relationships.
Manage customer orders and coordinate the different stages of the sales process with internal teams, vendors and partners.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, ensuring correct forecasting and visibility through CRM and other corporate tools.
Monitor ongoing opportunities, negotiations and commercial activities, identifying potential risks and taking proactive action when required.
Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to obtain pricing, availability, product information, marketing support and other resources required to progress opportunities.
Provide partners with a high level of service, ensuring fast response times, accurate information and effective resolution of commercial or operational queries.
Support sales campaigns, vendor initiatives and business development activities aimed at increasing revenue and market penetration.
Act as a reference point within the Inside Sales team, sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Senior Inside Sales Specialist will have:
Several years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Operations or a similar commercial role, preferably within the IT distribution, cybersecurity or technology sector.
Proven experience managing relationships with partners, resellers or customers in a B2B environment.
Good understanding of the cybersecurity market and/or experience working with technology solutions and vendors.
Strong commercial skills, with the ability to understand customer needs, identify opportunities and drive them through to closure.
Experience preparing quotations, managing opportunities and supporting the sales cycle from lead/opportunity to order.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with partners, vendors and internal stakeholders.
Analytical, proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a collaborative, international team.
Good level of Italian & English, both written and spoken.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM tools; experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems will be considered an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, sense of ownership and customer-oriented approach.
Interest in technology and a mindset of continuous learning and professional development.
