Your expertise in stakeholder management will be critical to fostering strong internal and external relationships, ensuring timely payment, and maintaining the financial health of our legal tech platform.\nWhat you will do:\nStrategic Collections & Stakeholder Management\nServe as the subject matter expert and main liaison for high-value clients and senior internal stakeholders to address complex billing and payment issues.\nDevelop and maintain strategic relationships with customers, internal teams (Finance, Sales, Customer Success), and external partners to ensure a smooth and efficient collections process.\nRegularly communicate key collections metrics and insights to senior leadership, providing recommendations to optimize cash flow.\nAdvanced Payment Reminders & Negotiations\nOversee and refine the process of proactive communication with customers via phone, email, and other channels to remind them of outstanding balances.\nLead high-level negotiations and handle escalated billing disputes or payment delays with tact and diplomacy.\nImplement best practices in collections to minimize bad debt while preserving client relationships.\nLeadership & Mentorship\nGuide and mentor junior Accounts Receivable team members, providing training on effective collections strategies, customer engagement, and conflict resolution.\nCollaborate with management to set team goals and ensure the AR function operates at peak efficiency.\nProcess Optimization & Reporting\nDesign, implement, and refine systematic follow-up schedules and tools to enhance AR outcomes.\nUtilize data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of collections processes and to forecast receivables.\nGenerate and present regular reports, dashboards, and action plans to senior leadership, ensuring transparency in collections performance and related financial metrics.\nCompliance & Risk Management\nEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, industry regulations, and legal guidelines related to billing and collections.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with overdue accounts, working with legal counsel or external agencies when necessary.\nRequirements\nWhat you bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
