Reporting to the R&D Group Leader, you will actively contribute to the creation and maintenance of EXFO’s new test and measurement product lines by helping define, improve, and execute test strategies and plans aimed at validating product quality.\nYour Role\nAs a QA Analyst, you will establish a quality assurance vision focused on validating the reliability of applications across various EXFO devices. You will work closely with software designers to understand product requirements and verify compliance across multiple scenarios. You will also be responsible for defining and developing automated tests and will handle optical components and various optical measurement instruments.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and adapt test strategies;\nPrepare test setups and optical connections;\nExecute tests and implement test automation;\nCommunicate and ensure a comprehensive and unified automated testing strategy;\nAct as a point of contact with development teams to ensure resolution of identified non-conformities.\nProfile\nExperience in developing automated test strategies;\nKnowledge of at least one programming or scripting language used for automated test implementation;\nKnowledge of telecommunications (asset);\nExperience working in an Agile development environment (asset).\nRequired Skills\nExcellent problem-solving and experimentation skills;\nStrong attention to detail, rigor, and methodical work habits;\nGood analytical and synthesis abilities;\nPersistent and passionate about technology and innovation;\nStrong team spirit and collaboration skills;\nInitiative-driven and autonomous;\nAbility to communicate effectively within a team.\nRequirements\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in a research and development role (or equivalent);\nFrench and English (spoken and written);\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any relevant combination of education and experience.\nEXFO is an equal opportunity employer.
