Exiger is FedRAMP® authorized and a 2x Leader in Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Supplier Risk Management.\nEngineering | Platform Engineering | Hybrid (US)\nU.S. Citizenship Required\nWe’re looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to own and evolve critical parts of Exiger’s platform, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, secrets and identity, observability, and automated compliance controls.\nThe strongest candidates are excellent problem solvers who are also genuinely great to work with. Platform engineering only creates value when engineering teams adopt and trust the platform, so this role requires both deep technical expertise and strong communication, collaboration, and influence.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign and build reusable platform components, including Terraform modules, Helm charts, and pipeline templates, with reliable interfaces that engineering teams can adopt.\nOperate production Amazon EKS and multi-account AWS environments, including networking, identity, and secrets management.\nTranslate FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and SOC 2 requirements into automated technical controls and continuously auditable systems.\nExtend platform capabilities into AWS GovCloud to support federal workloads.\nBuild observability and reliability practices that make production behavior visible, measurable, and recoverable.\nPartner directly with product engineering teams to identify and eliminate day-to-day development and operational friction.\nParticipate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, and drive durable fixes that improve platform reliability.\nSolve ambiguous technical problems using data, experimentation, and evidence rather than assumptions.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nStrong production experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.\nA track record of solving complex or poorly defined problems through investigation and evidence.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to engineers, security teams, and product leaders.\nExperience driving adoption of platform capabilities across teams you do not directly manage.\nHands-on experience implementing cloud security and compliance controls.\nExperience developing tooling and automation with Python or Go.\nU.S. citizenship, required for access to Exiger’s FedRAMP federal environments where legally required.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with one or more of the following is a plus:\nFedRAMP, FISMA, IL4/IL5, or CMMC environments\nAWS GovCloud\nPolicy-as-code\nHashiCorp Vault\nMulti-region disaster recovery\nInternal developer platforms\nAutomated compliance and continuous authorization practices\n\nWhy This Role Matters\nEverything Exiger ships-commercial and federal-moves through our platform.\nAs a Platform Engineer, your work will have an organization-wide impact.
