mappings, transformation logic, and business rules\nDefine KPIs, metrics, and regulatory data elements (e.g., capital, liquidity, exposure)\nPerform data profiling and analysis to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies\nDesign and develop subject-oriented data marts (Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting)\nBuild dimensional data models (fact/dimension tables) optimized for analytics and reporting and create ER Diagram\nWork with enterprise platforms such as Oracle, Netezza, or cloud data warehouses\nOptimize queries and data structures for performance and scalability\nDefine control totals, data validation rules, and exception handling mechanisms\nDocument and maintain data lineage (source to report) at table and column level\nSupport integration with lineage/governance tools (e.g., MANTA, Collibra)\nEnsure adherence to data governance policies and regulatory standards (BCBS 239, SOX, etc.)\nMaintain metadata, data dictionaries, and transformation documentation\nWork closely with data engineers, architects and business users\nParticipate in Agile delivery cycles (sprint planning, UAT, defect management)\nEnsure proper testing, validation, and sign-off for data mart releases\nAct as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams\nRequired Skills\nStrong understanding of banking data domains (Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting)\nExpertise in data warehousing and data mart design (star/snowflake schema)\nAdvanced SQL skills (query optimization, performance tuning) in TOAD, etc\nHands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, etc)\nExperience working with databases such as Oracle, Netezza, or similar platforms\nStrong knowledge of data reconciliation, controls, and validation frameworks\nFamiliarity with data lineage and governance practices\nUnderstanding of file-based and API-based data integration\nPreferred Skills (Good to Have)\nExposure to BCBS 239, CCAR, Basel, or other regulatory frameworks\nExperience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)\nFamiliarity with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI)\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field\n 5-8 years of experience in banking data, data warehousing, or data engineering roles\n Engage with business stakeholders (Finance, Risk, Regulatory teams) to gather and document data mart
