You will combine deep technical expertise in LLMs, Agentic AI, and enterprise architecture with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate business challenges into scalable, secure, and compliant AI solutions.\nThis role is ideally suited to professionals from leading technology consulting firms, global systems integrators, AI product companies, or specialist AI consultancies who have spent the last several years delivering GenAI initiatives from concept through to production deployment.\nAs part of your duties, you will be responsible for:\nLead the end-to-end architecture, solution design, and delivery of Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions for banking clients.\n\nTranslate business requirements and regulatory considerations into scalable, production-ready AI architectures.\n\nDesign and implement advanced GenAI solutions, including:\nRetrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)\n\nMulti-Agent Systems\n\nIntelligent Document Processing\n\nKnowledge Management Platforms\n\nEnterprise Workflow Automation\n\nDefine architecture patterns, governance standards, security controls, and best practices for enterprise AI adoption.\n\nApply GenAI capabilities to areas such as data transformation, metadata management, customer service, risk, compliance, operations, and process automation.\n\nCollaborate with engineering, data, cloud, and business teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption.\n\nDrive solution assurance across the full software development lifecycle, including architecture reviews, testing, deployment, monitoring, and optimisation.\n\nFacilitate client workshops and present technical solutions to both executive and technical stakeholders.\n\nQualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:\n7+ years of experience in technology, architecture, or engineering roles.\n\nMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience delivering Generative AI solutions in production environments.\n\nDemonstrable experience successfully designing and launching multiple enterprise GenAI implementations beyond proof-of-concept stage.\n\nStrong expertise in LLM ecosystems including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and related model platforms.\n\nHands-on experience with RAG architectures, Agentic AI frameworks, and orchestration tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, and CrewAI.\n\nProven experience applying Agile delivery, DevOps, MLOps, and LLMOps practices to enterprise AI programmes.\n\nStrong cloud architecture experience across Azure, AWS, or GCP.\n\nExperience in model deployment, monitoring, observability, governance, versioning, and operational support.\n\nExcellent stakeholder management skills with proven experience engaging clients and senior business leaders.\n\nStrong understanding of enterprise security, risk management, and responsible AI principles.\n\nSkills and Personal attributes we would like to have:\nBanking, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industry experience.\n\nExperience delivering AI solutions in areas such as risk, compliance, fraud, customer operations, lending, or regulatory reporting.\n\nData architecture, data modernisation, data platforms, or lakehouse expertise.\n\nExperience supporting large-scale cloud migration or transformation programmes.\n\nKnowledge of AI governance, model risk management, and regulatory requirements within financial services.\n\nExposure to modern AI-native platforms and frameworks including Azure AI Foundry, Vertex AI, Bedrock, Databricks, or Palantir.\n\nStrong consulting and problem-solving mindset.\n\nAbility to balance strategic architecture with hands-on technical delivery.\n\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\n\nCommercially aware and client-focused.\n\nComfortable working in fast-paced, evolving technology environments.\n\nPassionate about innovation and the practical application of Generative AI within enterprise organisations.\n\nAs part of a leading global Data and AI company, you can look forward to:\n\nA competitive salary with a generous bonus, private healthcare, critical illness life assurance at 4 x your annual salary, income protection insurance, and a rewarding pension.\n\nEXL provides everyday financial well-being solutions, such as cash back cards, in which you can earn cashback while enjoying discounts, promotions, and offers from top retailers.
