EXL Analytics serves the insurance, healthcare, banking, capital markets, utilities, retail and e-commerce, travel, transportation and logistics industries.\nAs part of your duties, you will be responsible for:\nConduct governance reviews, assessments, and sign-offs for strategic and transformational initiatives to ensure compliance with the organization's Data Minimum Standards (DMS).\nProvide governance oversight across a portfolio of ongoing strategic initiatives, supporting each project through the end-to-end governance lifecycle from initial engagement and assessment to completion and sign-off.\nRepresent Data Governance at weekly enterprise review forums, including the Architectural Review Board (ARB), Salesforce Review Board (SRB), and Change Approval Board (CAB), as well as relevant Data Governance forums.\nAct as the primary conduit between project delivery teams and Data Governance, ensuring governance requirements and Data Minimum Standards are considered and applied throughout the project lifecycle.\nReview initiatives at the ARB stage, providing governance guidance and oversight before solution design activities commence.\nAssess whether projects have appropriately addressed data ownership, data quality, metadata management, and governance requirements before progressing through delivery.\nParticipate in Salesforce Review Board discussions to ensure Salesforce-related initiatives align with enterprise data governance principles and standards.\nAttend Change Approval Board meetings to validate that governance requirements have been met before solutions are approved for production deployment.\nEnsure all relevant projects complete the required governance artefacts, including the Data Readiness Checklist (DRC) and Metadata Capture Template (MCT), prior to governance approval.\nProvide reviews and guidance to project teams so that governance requirements are understood, appropriately addressed, and delivered in line with organizational standards.\nDrive consistency and quality in governance assessments, supporting improved data management, accountability, and compliance outcomes across the organization.\nStrengthen collaboration between Data Governance, Architecture, Technology, and Business teams to embed governance considerations from design through implementation while supporting successful delivery.\nPromote awareness and adoption of Data Governance principles and Data Minimum Standards across project and delivery teams, building strong relationships with project managers, business stakeholders, data owners, architects, and technology teams.\nQualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:\nBachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Required).\nExperience in data governance, data management, or data risk and compliance roles, ideally within financial services or insurance (Required).\nHands-on experience performing governance reviews, assessments, and sign-offs for projects against defined data standards (Required).\nWorking knowledge of data ownership, data quality, metadata management, and data governance frameworks (Required).\nExperience participating in enterprise governance forums such as architecture review boards, change approval boards, or platform review boards (Required).\nFamiliarity with governance artefacts such as data readiness checklists and metadata capture templates (Preferred).\nSkills and Personal attributes we would like to have:\nUnderstanding of CRM platforms such as Salesforce and their data governance implications (Preferred).\nUnderstanding of project delivery lifecycles (Agile and Waterfall) and where governance checkpoints fit (Preferred).\nProfessional certification such as DAMA CDMP or equivalent (Preferred).\nStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence project managers, architects, technology teams, data owners, and business leaders without direct authority (Required).\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain governance requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences (Required).\nStrong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and meet review deadlines (Required)\nAs part of a leading global Data and AI company, you can look forward to:\n\nA competitive salary with a generous bonus, private healthcare, critical illness life assurance at 4 x your annual salary, income protection insurance, and a rewarding pension.\nEXL provides everyday financial well-being solutions, such as cash back cards, in which you can earn cashback while enjoying discounts, promotions, and offers from top retailers.
