domain knowledge is preferred.\n Key Responsibilities\nData Governance Strategy & Operating ModelDefine and mature the enterprise data governance strategy, roadmap, and operating model for P&C insurance data domains (Claims and Legal).\nEstablish data ownership, data stewardship, governance councils, and decision forums across business and technology.\nDrive governance adoption aligned with business outcomes such as underwriting accuracy, claims efficiency, regulatory reporting, and analytics enablement.\n\nIDMC PlatformIDMC implementation and configuration including: Business Glossary and Data Dictionary\nData Catalog and Metadata Management\nData Lineage (technical and business)\nGovernance workflows and operating rules\nPartner with engineering teams to integrate Collibra with cloud platforms, data lakes, analytics tools, and core insurance systems. \nManage IDMC environments (Dev/Test/Prod) and promote best practices.\n\nMetadata, Lineage & DiscoverabilityEnsure consistent documentation of critical data elements (CDEs) across P&C domains.\nEnable end-to-end data lineage from core systems (Policy Admin, Claims, Billing) to downstream analytics and reporting platforms.\nImprove data discoverability and self-service analytics through standardized metadata and taxonomy. \n\nData Quality & Issue ManagementDefine and monitor data quality KPIs (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness).\nEstablish governance processes for data quality issue identification, triage, remediation, and tracking.\nWork with IT and analytics teams to embed data quality controls into data pipelines and reporting workflows. \n\nRegulatory, Risk & Compliance Enablement\nSupport data governance requirements aligned with state insurance regulations, privacy laws, and internal risk controls.\nEnable classification and governance of regulated and sensitive data used in underwriting, claims, and financial reporting.\nPartner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure audit-ready data practices.\n\n Required Qualifications\n5-8 years of experience in data management, data governance, or enterprise data programs\n2+ years of hands-on IDMC experience, including enterprise-scale implementations\nStrong Property & Casualty insurance domain expertise (Claims )\nDeep knowledge of: Metadata management & data cataloging\nData stewardship models\nData lineage and traceability\nData quality governance\nProven ability to work across business, IT, data engineering, analytics, and compliance teams\nExcellent stakeholder communication and executive-level presentation
