In this role, you will support the security and administration of Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based applications. You will work on cloud security controls, identity and access management, endpoint security, automation, and threat protection while collaborating with IT and Information Security teams to strengthen our overall security posture.\nWhat to expect in your journey\nConfigure and administer security controls across Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based applications.\nConfigure, enable, and manage security policies, benchmarks, and security baselines.\nSupport cloud engineering, scripting, and automation using a secure-by-design approach.\nDevelop and maintain PowerShell scripts and support API integrations for security and cloud operations.\nConfigure and manage Conditional Access policies and other identity security controls.\nImplement and manage Privileged Identity Management (PIM) across Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID.\nManage security keys, vaults, security groups, and other cloud security resources.\nDeploy and manage Intune MDM, BitLocker/FileVault disk encryption, and endpoint security controls.\nImplement Shadow IT controls and manage Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps Discovery.\nConfigure and manage email security controls and policies for threat protection.\nSupport IT teams in resolving IT tickets and addressing security events and incidents.\nProvide security recommendations to identify, manage, and remediate vulnerabilities.\nSupport Microsoft Sentinel SIEM/SOAR activities, including security monitoring and incident investigation.\nMaintain security documentation and provide guidance on security policies and compliance standards.\nSupport the adoption and effective use of Microsoft Security Copilot.\nStay updated on Generative AI (GenAI) security concepts, risks, and emerging security considerations.\nCollaborate with IT and Information Security teams to strengthen cloud security controls and support compliance initiatives.\nWhat you bring to the table\n6+ years of experience as a Azure Cloud Engineer.\nExperience in Cloud Engineering, Azure, Microsoft 365, or Cloud Security.\nUnderstanding of Azure security controls, Microsoft 365 security, and Conditional Access policies.\nHands-on or working knowledge of PowerShell scripting, automation, and API integration.\nExperience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and cloud-based security controls.\nExperience with Intune MDM, BitLocker/FileVault encryption, and endpoint security controls.\nKnowledge of Privileged Identity Management (PIM) across Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID.\nExperience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM/SOAR platform.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Security Copilot.\nFamiliarity with Generative AI (GenAI) security concepts and associated risks.\nUnderstanding of vulnerability management, security incident handling, and remediation practices.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with IT, Information Security, and other business stakeholders.\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, BCA, B.Sc.
