This operations-focused role that plays a critical part in preparing projects for successful field operations and final map production. You’ll work closely with Utility Coordinators, Project Managers, and Mapping teams to ensure utility records are requested, permits are secured, and projects are prepared accurately and on time. his role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, process-driven, and interested in infrastructure, utilities, or operations.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSubmit 811 design ticket requests to state and local One Call Centers\nCoordinate with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), municipalities, utility owners, and other external stakeholders to determine project-specific permitting requirements.\nObtaining permits and approvals from municipalities, utility owners, or other stakeholders \nReview permit requirements during project scoping and provide cost and timeline estimates for inclusion in client proposals\nManage permit submissions and payment workflows following client or internal Notice to Proceed (NTP)\nVerify ticket details and ensure required information is accurate and complete\nTrack ticket confirmations, response deadlines, and statuses in Monday.com\nContact utility owners to request available records (maps, PDFs, shapefiles, etc.)\nFollow up on outstanding requests and escalate issues when utilities are unresponsive\nReview incoming utility records for basic completeness and usability\nUpload records to SharePoint following Exodigo standards\nUpdate internal teams on ticket status and support weekly reporting\nFollow jurisdiction-specific requirements and internal SOPs\nWhat Success Looks Like\nDesign tickets submitted on time and tracked accurately\nRequired permits and approvals secured in advance of scheduled fieldwork, minimizing project delays\nUtility records consistently uploaded, organized, and easy to find\nClear, timely communication with internal teams and utility owners\nProjects prepared with the required permits and utility records ahead of scan dates\nRequirements\n2-4 years of relevant experience in utility coordination, permitting, or project operations\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows\nClear written and verbal communication skills\nComfortable working with task-tracking and document management tools\nAbility to manage multiple requests and deadlines\nInterest in utilities, infrastructure, operations, or geospatial work\nNice to Have\nExposure to 811 design ticket workflows (internship, coursework, or prior role)\nFamiliarity with Monday.com, SharePoint, or similar platforms\nSalary range: $60,000 - $80,000\nLocation: Remote - East Coast Preferred\nExodigo encourages applications from qualified candidates of all backgrounds.
