The engineering team at Exoscale works\non all aspects from designing & developing products, to their operation and support.\nWith an expanding customer base and new products to further advance Exoscale's product portfolio, Site Reliability Engineers build and maintain a wide range of technologies. As users of Exoscale itself, Site Reliability Engineers also take active part in improving products.\nThis position focuses on designing and implementing Exoscale's confidential computing product at the system level, working closely with product teams. It involves deep ownership of hypervisor internals, operating system stacks. The candidate will also take part in the evolution and maintenance of Exoscale's base systems.\nLocation: Madrid, Munich or Remote in EU\nSome of the challenges you will be working on:\n- Design, development, and implementation of Confidential Computing at the hypervisor level.\n- Design and maintain Exoscale’s operating systems and hypervisor fleets, from kernels to the network stacks, including security filtering layers.\n- Contribute to the routing & security automation systems implementations.\n- Help shape our operating system images strategy, from bare metal to Virtual Machines.\n- Maintain and improve the system container runtimes.\n- Improve our provisioning and deployment systems.\n- Help improve bare metal and hypervisor systems performance.\n- Contribute to the overall design and the architecture of the Exoscale platform systems.\n- Contribute to internal tooling development.\n- Improve our systems and processes to be scalable and highly available, helping achieve outstanding SLAs.\n- Participate in code & changes reviews.\n- Take part in the on-call rotation after a training period.\nIdeal candidates:\n- Have a solid experience with Linux, its kernel and Systemd.\n- Are familiar with Confidential Computing and related concepts, including hardware level ones (AMD SEV, Intel TDX, or equivalent).\n- Are familiar with Secure Boot, chain of trust, attestation, key management.\n- Are familiar with KVM virtualization.\n- Have a good knowledge of eBPF.\n- Have a good knowledge of container runtimes.\n- Have a good experience with Golang, Python\n- Have experience with configuration management solutions and large scale infrastructure.\n- Love to automate anything that could be and inclined to write documentation.\n- Are curious, autonomous and embrace learning new things every day.\n- Are team players and are comfortable working in a distributed team.\n- Have good English communication skills, written and spoken.\nWhat we offer:\n- Flexible
