The engineering team at Exoscale works on all aspects from designing & developing products, to their operation and support.\nWith an expanding customer base and new products to further advance Exoscale's product portfolio, site reliability engineers build and maintain a wide range of technologies. As users of Exoscale itself, site reliability engineers also take active part in improving products.\nThis position focuses on designing, developing and maintaining Exoscale's core platform and security components.\nLocation: Madrid, Munich or Remote in EU\n\nSome of the challenges you will be working on:\nDesign and maintain our core Linux-based platform ecosystem.\nDevelop and manage our PKI, secrets management, and security systems.\nContribute to internal platform tooling, automation, and orchestration development.\nEnhance the developer experience (DX) by delivering self-service systems and pipelines.\nPlay a key role in the architecture and design of Exoscale’s platform systems.\nImprove processes to ensure scalability, security, and high availability.\nParticipate in code and change reviews to maintain high development standards.\nJoin the on-call rotation after completing a training period.\nIdeal candidates are:\nExperienced with Linux, including networking and security filtering.\nKnowledgeable in platform security components and PKI systems (experience with HashiCorp Vault is a plus).\nProficient in Golang (mandatory for this position).\nFamiliar with service discovery and DNS systems at scale.\nExperienced in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).\nComfortable working with KVM virtualization.\nSkilled in configuration management and large-scale infrastructure.\nPassionate about automation. You look for ways to optimize workflows and reduce manual effort.\nTeam players who thrive in a distributed team environment.\nCurious, autonomous, and eager to learn new technologies every
