You’ll join a company where collaboration, excellence, and meaningful impact guide what's built next.\nYour Role\nReporting directly to the Maintenance Director, you will be the operational leader for maintenance activities across approximately 14 customer sites throughout the United States and Canada. You will oversee Site Team Leaders and maintenance teams while helping Exotec scale its maintenance organization, standardize best practices, and build capabilities for supporting increasingly complex integrated automation solutions.\nThis is a highly visible role that will serve as the North American voice within our global maintenance organization and help shape how Exotec supports multi-vendor automated warehouse environments.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead maintenance teams, site leaders, and technicians across multiple customer sites\nManage workload balancing and resource allocation across North America\nEstablish and deploy maintenance best practices across sites\nSupport recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of maintenance team members\nIdentify skill gaps and coordinate training and talent deployment between sites\nCollaborate with Maintenance Engineering teams to improve service delivery and reliability\nPartner with Deployment teams to ensure successful maintenance transitions for new sites\nDefine maintenance organization structures for newly commissioned locations\nSupport Safety, and operational teams regarding regional regulations and compliance requirements\nEnsure adherence to EHS standards and safe working practices\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance network\nManage vendor relationships, service providers, spare parts strategies, and escalation processes across multiple equipment suppliers\nAct as a key point of coordination between customer sites, Exotec teams, and third-party equipment providers\nRequirements\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Experience\nMinimum 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in highly automated industrial environments\nExperience managing maintenance operations supporting automated distribution, logistics, fulfillment, or e-commerce systems\nMulti-site maintenance leadership experience\nProven ability to drive consistency, governance, and operational discipline across geographically dispersed teams\nExperience leading both internal maintenance teams and third-party service providers\nDemonstrated success coaching, developing, and leading technical teams\nStrong escalation management experience with equipment suppliers and external vendors\nProfessional proficiency in English\nAble to travel approximately 50%\nAvailable for occasional after-hours or weekend escalation support is a plus.\nIntegration & Automation Experience\nWe are specifically looking for candidates who bring experience from complex multi-vendor automation environments and can help Exotec continue its evolution as an integrated solutions provider.\nIdeal candidates have managed maintenance operations involving multiple OEMs and automation technologies, including:\nConveyor systems\nSortation systems\nPallet transport systems\nPackaging automation\nWarehouse Control Systems (WCS)\nIntegrated material handling solutions\nExperience gained within warehouse automation integrators or similar organizations is highly valued.
