About the Role

Following continued business growth in the United Kingdom and Irland, Exotec is recruiting a Senior Sales Executive to strengthen our presence and accelerate commercial development across the region. This role will play a key part in driving Exotec’s commercial expansion strategy and contributing directly to order intake across the business unit.

Reporting to the EVP Sales Europe, the Senior Sales Executive will collaborate closely with Business Development, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact automation projects to customers across the UK and Ireland.

The role is remote-based in the UK, with access to our Solihull office and regular travel to customer sites and Exotec headquarters in France.

Mission

  • Drive sales opportunities from qualification through contract signature within the UK and Ireland market
  • Lead customer discussions during tender and negotiation phases, ensuring a high-quality commercial experience throughout the sales cycle
  • Validate and defend final proposals with customers while managing commercial strategy and deal execution
  • Coordinate sales projects and ensure alignment between technical, financial, and operational stakeholders
  • Support the qualification of incoming leads and contribute to the development of strategic commercial pipelines
  • Contribute to market intelligence, benchmarking activities, and competitive positioning
  • Build long-term customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process

Requirements

  • Experience in intralogistics, warehouse automation, material handling, or related solution-selling environments
  • Strong experience managing complex B2B sales cycles and high-value automation projects
  • Proven ability to negotiate, influence, and close strategic commercial deals
  • Experience working with customers in sectors such as retail, e-commerce, food, or supply chain operations is highly valued
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders in project-based sales environments
  • Adaptability, autonomy, and strong ownership mentality
  • Capability to influence both internally and externally across multiple seniority levels
