As part of our In-Orbit Services (IOS) division, you will contribute to the development of SpaceTower™, our flight dynamics and mission operations software platform supporting spacecraft missions from mission design to in-orbit operations.\nAs a Flight Dynamics Software Engineer, you will combine astrodynamics expertise and software engineering skills to design, develop and maintain the flight operational space missions, we'd love to hear from you.\nYour Mission\nYou will contribute to the design, development and validation of Exotrail's Flight Dynamics System (FDS), supporting mission analysis, orbit determination, maneuver planning, trajectory optimization and operational flight dynamics activities.\nWorking closely with Flight Dynamics, Software, System and Operations teams, you will deliver high-performance software solutions that support spacecraft throughout their entire lifecycle, from mission preparation to routine operations in orbit.\nYour Responsibilities\nMission Analysis & Astrodynamics\nDesign and implement orbit propagation, orbit determination and maneuver planning algorithms.\n\nDevelop trajectory optimization solutions for spacecraft missions.\n\nContribute to mission analysis and operational flight dynamics capabilities.\n\nValidate algorithms through simulation, testing and operational data analysis.\n\nTranslate mission requirements into robust software solutions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.\n\nSoftware Development\nDesign, develop and maintain Flight Dynamics software products, including SpaceTower™.\n\nParticipate in software architecture decisions and technical roadmap definition.\n\nImprove software performance, scalability, robustness and maintainability.\n\nDevelop automated testing frameworks and validation tools.\n\nContribute to continuous integration and software quality processes.\n\nParticipate in code reviews and software development best practices.\n\nProduce high-quality technical documentation.\n\nMission & Operations Support\nSupport System Engineering and Operations teams during CONOPS definition and mission preparation.\n\nTrain and assist internal and external users of SpaceTower™.\n\nParticipate in software and operational validation campaigns.\n\nSupport critical mission phases such as launch, commissioning and end-of-life operations.\n\nInvestigate operational anomalies and contribute to continuous process improvements.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nMaster's degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Astrodynamics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.\n\nStrong foundation in applied mathematics and solid understanding of space mechanics\n\nGood understanding of spacecraft dynamics, orbit propagation and numerical methods.\n\nProven experience in software development using Java (must have), Linux\n\nGit/GitLab, CI/CD/CT\n\nFluency in English and French\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with flight dynamics libraries and tools (Orekit, GMAT, STK/ODTK, Tudat, Orecz).\n\nPython and Typescript\n\nContainerization and Orchestration (e.g.,Docker, Kbernetes)\n\nKnowledge of Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) systems.\n\nKnowledge of Agile development methodologies.\n\nSoft skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating with engineers, scientists, and operations teams.\n\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nProactive attitude and ownership mindset, capable of
