From our high-performance propulsion system spaceware™ to our orbital transfer vehicle spacevan™, we enable satellites to go farther, stay operational longer, and achieve more.\nToday, more than 200 Exotrailers across Massy and Toulouse are working together to make space operations more efficient and sustainable.\nBacked by over €75 million in funding, we are pursuing a clear mission:\nMaking space a sustainable frontier for future generations.\nJob Description\nWe are looking for a Fluidic Engineer at our Massy site, to support the rapid growth.\nAttached to the System Engineer Team, you will be responsible for the design, modelling, and optimisation of fluidic systems associated with electric space propulsion engines. The role ensures their performance and integration into propulsion systems.\nThe Fluidics Engineer contributes to all phases of development, from specification to validation, working closely with the Mechanical & Thermal department, other technical departments when required, and suppliers.\nFluidic Design and Architecture\nDesign fluidic circuits for propulsion systems.\n\nSize fluidic components, including pressure regulators, control devices, and fluid transport lines.\n\nDefine technical solutions that ensure stability, fluid cleanliness, and compatibility with other materials.\n\nModelling and Simulation\nPerform CFD simulations to understand internal phenomena, including fluid flows, pressure, and thermal effects.\n\nModel propulsion system performance.\n\nInvestigate critical phenomena, including flow fluctuations, instabilities, and contamination.\n\nCorrelate numerical models with manufacturer data and test results.\n\nSpecifications and Documentation\nWrite fluidic specifications for equipment and systems.\n\nContribute to requirements traceability from design through validation.\n\nProduce compliance matrices, calculation notes, and fluidic justification files.\n\nPrepare and present Design Justification Documents (DJD) for project milestones, including PDR, CDR, and QRR.\n\nValidation and Testing\nDefine the fluidic tests to be performed.\n\nMonitor test preparation and execution.\n\nAnalyse test results and update fluidic models for correlation.\n\nDocument the associated justifications in accordance with ECSS standards.\n\nProject Support and Interfaces\nCommunicate with component suppliers, including suppliers of valves, high-pressure lines, and pressure regulators.\n\nParticipate in the analysis of non-conformities and the management of fluidics-related deviations.\n\nPreferred Experience\nTechnical Skills\nStrong command of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics in a space environment.\n\nKnowledge of electric propulsion systems and their constraints.\n\nExperience with CFD tools such as Ansys Fluent or equivalent.\n\nExperience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or CATIA.\n\nUnderstanding and application of ECSS and NPR standards in fluidics.\n\nKnowledge of material compatibility with rare propellants.\n\nKnowledge of fluid contamination control requirements.\n\nStrong documentation skills and sense of responsibility.\n\nAbility to raise alerts in the event of technical or supplier-related deviations.\n\nAbility to report fluidic risks and identify needs for technical arbitration.\n\nSoft Skills\nAbility to work across multiple technical disciplines.\n\nRigorous and structured approach, with strong summarisation skills.\n\nClear technical communication in French and English, with
