space a sustainable frontier for future generations.\nJob Description\nAs part of our In-Orbit Services (IoS) division, we are looking for a Ground Software Engineer to design, develop, validate, and integrate software solutions supporting satellite ground segments and operations.\nYou will contribute to the development and improvement of Flight Dynamics Systems (FDS), Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) applications, and test tools used throughout the entire satellite lifecycle, from development and validation to in-orbit operations.\nSoftware Design & Development\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain ground software applications supporting LEO, GEO, rendezvous, and in-orbit servicing missions.\n\nDevelop solutions for satellite monitoring and control, including Flight Dynamics Systems (FDS) and GNC-related applications.\n\nImplement reliable, scalable, and maintainable software architectures.\n\nEnsure compliance with project requirements and applicable space industry standards.\n\nRequirements Management & Traceability\nContribute to the definition and refinement of software requirements alongside system architects and engineers.\n\nEnsure bidirectional traceability between requirements, implementation, and validation activities.\n\nMaintain consistency between software deliverables and system needs.\n\nSupport configuration management and software quality processes.\n\nVerification, Validation & Qualification\nDesign and execute automated testing campaigns.\n\nSupport software qualification and acceptance activities.\n\nIntegrate and validate software solutions within SWIL and HIL environments.\n\nInvestigate issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.\n\nSoftware Architecture & Performance\nOptimize software performance, reliability, and maintainability.\n\nDesign modular and reusable software components.\n\nApply software engineering best practices and the KISS principle to reduce complexity.\n\nDocument architecture decisions and ensure long-term maintainability of developed solutions.\n\nCollaboration & Engineering Excellence\nWork closely with System, Avionics, AIT, and GNC teams.\n\nParticipate in technical reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR.\n\nProduce and maintain software specifications, test reports, user manuals, and developer documentation.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.\n\nAbout You\nRequired Experience\nDegree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.\n\nExperience in software development, preferably within aerospace, space, robotics, defense, or other high-reliability industries.\n\nStrong interest in satellite operations, flight dynamics, guidance, navigation and control, or mission-critical systems.\n\nExperience working on complex software systems throughout the full development lifecycle.\n\nFamiliarity with software verification, validation, and integration activities.\n\nExperience in the space industry is a strong plus.\n\nTechnical Skills\nStrong programming skills in C/C++.\n\nExperience with Python for automation, testing, and engineering tools.\n\nKnowledge of software architecture principles and modular software design.\n\nFamiliarity with RTOS environments, low-level software, and drivers.\n\nUnderstanding of software development standards such as DO-178C, ECSS, IEEE, or MISRA.\n\nExperience with software development and debugging tools.\n\nKnowledge of software testing methodologies and automation frameworks.\n\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies and systems engineering principles.\n\nAbility to understand and analyze complex technical systems.\n\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving
