From our high-performance propulsion system spaceware™ to our orbital transfer vehicle spacevan™, we enable satellites to go farther, stay operational longer, and achieve more.\nToday, more than 200 Exotrailers across Massy and Toulouse are working together to make space operations more efficient and sustainable.\nBacked by over €75 million in funding, we are pursuing a clear mission:\nMaking space a sustainable frontier for future generations.\nJob Description\nWe are looking for a Power Electronics Exper t at our Massy site, to support the rapid growth.\nAttached to the R&D Team, you will be responsible for:\nProviding expertise and tech\n\nSupporting advanced research\n\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams\n\nMain responsibilities\nReviewing and approving technical documents, both generated internally and with suppliers and customers,\n\nLeading specific activities linked with research and development activities on power electronics applied to electric propulsion and at satellite-level,\n\nHelp develop the technical expertise of the team through the writing of best practices and design guidelines,\n\nBe the reference to define test plans, validation strategies and technological roadmap on power electronics,\n\nIdentifying innovative technologies (topologies, architectures, suppliers, …) or methodologies to be further studied,\n\nMobilising resources for exploration of innovative technologies and methodologies,\n\nRepresenting Exotrail in seminars and forums, sharing their expertise and promoting the company’s vision and capabilities.\n\nPreferred Experience\nEducation: Masters’ or PhD in electrical engineering or related field\nExperience: 10 years in power electronics (100 - 1000W) for defence systems. Experience in the space sector is ideal and appreciated.\n\nStrong knowledge and experience of the design of a complete power electronics system (hardware to software), including filtering.\n\nSoftware/firmware for power electronics control.\n\nExpertise in simulation tools (LTspice).\n\nStrong technical leadership in multi-team technical meetings and a high level of agility.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with colleagues and external stakeholders in French and English (B2 min).\n\nCreativity vs unexpected technical issues (design, assembly,
