The position involves overseeing commissioning services for mechanical and electrical systems while engaging with various stakeholders. Your role will be pivotal in the growth of the commissioning service within the Central Canada Buildings group.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nParticipate in Commissioning projects from initiation to completion, including LEED-related commissioning, retro-commissioning, and re-commissioning projects\nAttend meetings and coordinate work as related to Commissioning services with other disciplines and team members, including mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, building code, building envelope/science, and other specialty services\nLiaison/coordination with clients, contractors and authorities having jurisdiction\nReviewing owner project requirements\nPerforming design reviews\nDeveloping commissioning specifications\nCreating commissioning plans, checklists and tests\nPerforming field visits and observing commissioning tests, including functional performance testing of HVAC systems and electrical systems\nWorking with contractors, in the field, to resolve commissioning issues observed during testing\nWriting field reports and final reports\nCreating Systems Manuals\nOversee building operator training\nWhat your experience looks like\n4+ years previous experience in commissioning, building system design/consulting, test and balance and / or building automation system\nCommissioning certification (Certified Building Commissioning Professional, CxA or equivalent) is an asset\nProfessional Engineering (P.Eng) is an asset\nAbility to travel within the GTHA and Ontario with a valid G Class License\nFamiliarity with building envelope commissioning is an asset\n\nThis job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.\nThe salary range for this role is between $65K - $90K.
