Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Electrical Project Manager!\nYour work environment at EXP\nEXP is searching for an Electrical Project Manager to join our Mechanical/Electrical team in our Hamilton, ON office. The successful applicant will be joining a diverse engineering group in Central Canada poised for growth and challenging opportunities well into the future.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nReports to the Mechanical/Electrical Manager or Project Manager with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision on projects from start to completion.\nContributes to preparation of project proposals and other business development efforts.\nAble to lead and mentor design staff on all aspects of their work.\nResponsible for meeting EXP’s engineering quality standards on assigned projects.\nOversees development of design concepts and ensures proper application and execution.\nReviews designer’s work regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings.\nResponsible for applying EXP’s risk management practices to all projects.\nLeads the design team to produce schematic design, design development, tender and construction documents that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget.\nPrepares, studies and reports on electrical system project work.\nExecutes complex electrical designs with conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination.\nContributes to revisions of company design standards and master specifications.\nEvaluates value engineering (cost saving) items with respect to the associated risk.\nWhat your experience looks like\nThe ideal candidate will have 5- years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field, with a preferred focus in building consulting engineering.\nBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.\nRegistered Professional Engineer is required.\nProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) products and electrical design software.\nAutoCAD experience required and REVIT MEP proficiency desired.\nThis job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.\nThe salary range for this role is between $80K - $120K.
