Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Engineer - Site Civil!\nYour work environment at EXP\nIn this role, you will be a part of the Site Civil team based in Chicago, Miami, or Atlanta with consideration for hybrid work arrangements. The professional will focus on Site Civil/Land Development projects supporting the Buildings, Telecommunications, and Mission Critical practices nationally. Project types and clients will vary with opportunities to be involved in projects across the United States.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nPrepares engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various aspects of site development projects under the supervision of an engineering manager.\nDesigns grading and drainage elements for site improvements.\nProperly coordinates utility conflict resolutions and designs utility piping systems when required.\nAnalyzes site plan layout with attention to pedestrian circulation and vehicle movements.\nPrepares erosion control documents including permitting and SWPPP submittals.\nPerforms hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for gravity and pressure piping systems.\nCoordinates with multi-disciplinary teams as needed to finalize all design details.\nPerforms construction assistance related tasks including responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), visiting job sites, reviewing submittals, and coordinating needed revisions (some travel may be required)\nWorks with dynamic design teams including architects, engineers, land use attorneys, surveyors, and contractors.\nWhat your experience looks like\nBS Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.\n2+ years of experience in a Civil Engineering or related role (site development experience preferred).\nEIT certification preferred and working towards PE.\nAbility to problem solve, complete assigned tasks efficiently, and present timely questions to development project/technical understanding.\nProficient in using AutoCAD Civil 3D.\nExperience in OpenSite Designer is a plus.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in code and permit requirement research applications.\nAbility to travel for 1-2 day site inspection/meeting trips (one trip per month or less average).\nStrong self-initiative to meet deadlines and advance projects.\nThe salary range for this role is $72,000 to $90,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
