This is a great role for students studying civil engineering, environmental engineering, geoscience, or related fields who want real-world field experience.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nConduct soil compaction testing using a soil density gauge \nPerform concrete field tests (slump, air content) and cast concrete test cylinders \nObserve asphalt placement and conduct sampling and compaction testing \nWhat your experience looks like\nCurrently enrolled in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences or related program \nInterest in construction, geotechnical testing, or environmental fieldwork \nAbility to problem-solve and think proactively on site \nComfortable reading and interpreting drawings/specifications (training provided) \nStrong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with contractors and team members \nSolid report writing and attention to detail \nValid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to job sites \nPhysically able to lift/carry equipment such as soil density gauges and concrete cylinders\nWhy Join EXP?\nHands on field training and mentorship\nExposure to live construction sites and diverse project types\nOpportunity to develop technical and professional skills in a supportive environment\nThis job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.\nThe hourly range for this role is between $21 - $23.
