Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Intermediate Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer!\nYour work environment at EXP\nEXP is currently seeking a skilled and detail-orientedIntermediate Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, install, monitor, and maintain geotechnical and structural instrumentation systems. Your expertise will support critical projects by providing accurate data and insights to help make informed decisions.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nPlan, design, and implement geotechnical instrumentation systems, including robotic total station, piezometers, inclinometers, extensometers, load cell, and strain gauges.\nConduct field installations and calibrations of monitoring equipment at project sites.\nAnalyze and interpret instrumentation data to assess ground movements, stress, and subsoil conditions.\nTroubleshoot and maintain monitoring equipment to ensure accurate data collection.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, project managers, and contractors.\nPrepare detailed technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.\nStay updated on emerging technologies and advancements in geotechnical instrumentation.\nWhat your experience looks like\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience in geotechnical instrumentation or a related role.\nProficiency with instrumentation software and data analysis tools.\nCapable of installing and configuring robotic total station and solar power kit.\nStrong understanding of geotechnical principles, ground behavior, and monitoring systems.\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to work effectively in both field and office environments.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nValid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with advanced monitoring systems such as real-time data acquisition and remote monitoring platforms.\nKnowledge of construction and tunneling projects.\nCertifications in geotechnical instrumentation or related fields. \nThis job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.\nThe salary range for this role is between $90.2k-$119.6k.
