Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Intermediate Water Resources Engineer!\nYour work environment at EXP\nEXP’s Land Development Group is seeking talented engineers who have a focus on water resources and stormwater management with experience in civil land development design for subdivisions and site plan projects. This role will support a variety of projects throughout GTA that involve water resources, project design, and construction services.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nPlanning, design, permitting, and construction phase services and will include activities focused on design of civil land development and stormwater projects.\nResponsibilities may include overseeing the planning and design of various project elements, the preparation of project reports, hydraulic models, calculations, drawings, construction plans and specifications, permitting packages, and documents for inclusion in the final project deliverables.\nOverseeing construction phase engineering services.\nCoordination with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the public will be necessary to accomplish assigned objectives.\nWhat your experience looks like\nBachelor’s degree in engineering plus 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.\nLicensed Professional Engineer, or the ability to meet the minimum criteria to obtain Professional Engineer registration in Ontario within 1 year of employment date.\nEight (8) years of progressive experience in civil land development projects and stormwater engineering design.\nExperience with and working knowledge of surface water analysis, hydrologic methodologies/models, and hydraulic models (Virtual Otthymo, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, etc.).\nAbility to make technical computations and calculations involving the application of engineering principles, understanding plans and specifications, and making factual comparisons to the appropriate regulations.\nProject management experience with small to mid-level projects including tracking hours and expenses for project work.\nEffective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to audiences with diverse technical knowledge.\nA valid driver’s license with own vehicle and travel throughout GTA and Southern Ontario is required.\nExperience mentoring or supervising other engineering professionals.\nAbility to communicate and coordinate effectively with diverse audience.\nThis job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.\nThe salary range for this role is between $90.2K-$119.6K.
