We are seeking a Lead Traffic Engineer/Project Manager with project management experience and entrepreneurial spirit to continue to build our transportation planning and operational analysis business lines, and to take their career to the next level.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nDevelop and supervise a team, which handles transportation planning and traffic operations analyses associated with:\nComplex traffic impact studies for land development.\nEnvironmental assessment and construction traffic impact analyses.\nTransportation master plans; Operational analysis, including micro-simulation.\nProject Manager for Traffic tasks and projects.\nMaintain client communications; prepare technical reports and presentations.\nCoordinate internal resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with quality control.\nOversee the assessments and preparation of reports, drawings and other deliverables prepared by junior staff.\nAttend public/private meetings and make presentations as a representative of EXP and /or our clients to municipal Road authorities and MTO.\nAssist in business development activities to continue to grow our group.\nMake a positive contribution to the overall team culture and environment.\nWhat your experience looks like\nDegree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of related experience, preferably with Ontario Municipal Road and Provincial authorities and land development.\nRAQS (Registry, Appraisal and Qualification System) certification for Traffic Impact Analysis, or qualifications to certify.\nP. Eng. designation with PEO is required.\nExperience in project management, report preparation, and client relationship management.\nProficient in the application of specialized traffic assessments and/or transportation planning software (Synchro, VISSIM, Aimsum and EMME).\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.\nExperience leading and working on Transportation Master Plan projects is desirable.\nStrong interpersonal skills that focus on meeting customer requirements.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills, as well as advanced technical writing abilities.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills that focus on meeting customer requirements.\nITE Canada membership desired.\nValid Ontario driver’s license (minimum G2).\nThis job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.\nThe salary range for this role is between $106.4K - $141.1K.
