Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Mechanical Designer / Engineer\nYour work environment at EXP\nIn this role, you will be a part of the Mechanical team, for Aviation, Data Centers, and Commercial Buildings projects in one of multiple locations in Florida or Texas.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nPerform hands-on CAD using Revit platforms\nPerform heating and cooling load calculations with industry software (Trace, Energy Pro, DOE)\nSelect and schedule equipment with oversight by senior staff\nLayout air and water side systems on working drawings\nUnderstand fan and pump curves to properly select equipment for application\nCommunicate with equipment vendors to determine requirements for applying products\nPerform field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects\nCoordinate with other disciplines (mep, fp, arch, struct, etc) for HVAC details\nMaintain the Engineering Calculation Book for projects\nUnderstand work planning and manage design process to the available hours in work plan\nUnderstand both constant and variable flow systems, and properly apply equipment\nWhat your experience looks like\n2+ years in designing Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for Aviation, Data and Commercial Building projects or recent graduate with internship experience in the plumbing and fire protection space.\nAn Engineering Bachelor’s degree specializing, preferably specializing in plumbing and fire protection.\nAuto CAD, REVIT MEP familiar\nGood Written and verbal communication\nEIT Certification is
