Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our nextMechanical Designer/Engineer\nYour work environment at EXP\nIn this role, you will be a part of the Mechanical team, of the Federal, Government and Commercial Building projects, based inGuam.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nPerform hands-on CAD using Revit platform and AUTOCAD\n3D coordination and clash detection.\nPerform heating and cooling load calculations with industry software (Trace or other load calculation software)\nDesign plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, storm drainage, and fuel gas piping systems.\nPrepare plumbing calculations, including water demand, pipe sizing, drainage, fixture unit calculations, and equipment sizing.\nSelect and schedule equipment with oversight by senior staff\nLayout air and water side systems on working drawings\nUnderstand fan and pump curves to properly select equipment for application\nCommunicate with equipment vendors to determine requirements for applying products\nPerform field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects\nCoordinate with other disciplines (elect, fp, arch, struct, etc) for HVAC and plumbing system design\nMaintain the Engineering Calculations for projects\nUnderstand work planning and manage design process to the available hours in work plan\nUnderstand both constant and variable flow systems, and properly apply equipment\nWhat your experience looks like\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering\nCandidate should have an engineering degree in the field of mechanical engineering with 1+ years of HVAC and/or plumbing building systems design experience\nEIT preferred\nExperience or interest in designing in Federal, Commercial and Government projects\nFamiliarity with applicable codes and standards, including ASHRAE, IBC, IMC, IPC, UFC NFPA, is
