Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Mechanical Engineer!\nYour work environment at EXP\nIn this role, you will be a part of the infrastructure team, of the Infrastructure & Transportation, based in New Liskeard, ON office and have the opportunity to work on various projects.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nBe able to lead, mentor and direct less experienced mechanical staff on all of their responsibilities, particularly in the design of pumps and piping systems\nPerform QA/QC review of specifications, reports, code application, RFI and submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables and drawings\nQA/QC reviews all calculations by designers and provide guidance and mentoring\nDetermine the content of drawings and specs for less experienced staff in order to meet the scope of work\nReview code-related items with Designers and ensure compliance\nEdit and develop the basis of design narratives documenting the project scope\nWrite new specifications sections, and develop new details, as required for project needs\nWrite studies and reports for systems on projects\nApply and modify appropriate controls diagrams for the project\nModify sequences of operation for air and water side equipment and systems\nCritically evaluate contractor pricing and cost estimates\nTravel to project sites to review the progress of work and successfully solve problems within time & budget\nDevelop and monitor work plans\nWhat your experience looks like\nCandidate should have an engineering Bachelor's degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of pump and piping design experience\nRegistered Professional Engineer Preferred\n3D Modeling experience will be considered an asset\nThe salary range for this role is between $92K - $120K.
