Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Mechanical Intern!\nYour work environment at EXP\nWe are seeking a Mechanical Intern to join our office in Chicago, to have the opportunity to work on Mission Critical, Aviation, Transit and Commercial building projects.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nWork with engineers to achieve project results timely and accurately.\nGenerate CAD drawings using AUTOCAD.\nUtilize HVAC load calculation software to achieve meaningful results.\nEfficiently research codes, references, standards to assist engineers.\nGenerate handwritten calculations and other hand done engineering task assignments.\nWhat your experience looks like\nAt Least Sophomore status in an accredited Bachelor’s Degree Program in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering\nFluent in engineering problem solving.\nCan communicate ideas and concepts well.\nHas interest in the HVAC consulting industry.\nComfortable and fluent in basic computer skills including Word and Excel.\nIs a self-starter and results oriented.\nOrganized on a daily basis.\nPersonable in working with colleagues.\nA level of understanding and experience in CAD/3-D skills.\nThe hourly range for this role is $21 to $25. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
