Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Project Accountant (Hybrid)!\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nEffectively communicate with Project Managers and Sector Leads, regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services-related to projects\nSet up/review/activate projects in Deltek and maintain budgets throughout the life of the project\nClose out projects upon completion\nPrepare draft and final invoices for all billable projects, including all applicable backup\nSend final invoices to clients and file in-house copies in the client folder\nCreate monthly Project Progress Reports for each PM. Hold monthly meetings with each PM to review the report.\nInvestigate project variances and submit reports to management\nWork with the cash receipts team members to reconcile variances that occur in the application of cash\nCompile information for internal and external audits, as required\nObtain required paperwork to set up new vendors\nReview and approval vendor invoices and employee expense reports\nRun requested reports\nPerform additional assignments as requested by PMs and Sector Leads\nCommunicate and coordinate with the local offices\nWhat your experience looks like\nBachelor of Science in Accounting\nMinimum 5 years of Accounting (AP/AR/Billing) experience with an engineering firm\nStrong understanding of revenue recognition\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nSelf-motivated with independent work habits\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy\nExperience working in a fast-paced office and deadline oriented\nWorking knowledge of Deltek Vision or Vantage Point software is a definite asset\nThe salary range for this role is $72,000 to $75,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
