Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Project Engineer!\nYour work environment at EXP\nIn this role, you will be a part of the Engineering Team, of the Oil, Gas & Chemical Sector in our Houston, Texas O ffice.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nManages and coordinates the progress of the engineering work, under the direction of the project manager in accordance with the project scope and schedule\nDevelop, coordinate and maintain project schedules to ensure cost, quality and schedule objectives are met\nDevelop and recommend improvements to project work processes\nParticipates in the development of project and engineering execution strategies\nManage and control the engineering budget and deliverables list\nPrepare and validate project forecasts\nIdentify scope changes and request change orders in advance of performing work\nUsing established project management tools, measured on a monthly basis, the progress of engineering, to ensure that the budgets and schedules are being met, and if necessary, take corrective action\nEnsures that the review of documentation is carried out in accordance with the Project Instructions\nPrepare project status reports\nEnsure that interdisciplinary coordination is carried out in accordance with the Project Instructions\nSet agenda and lead project meetings, including preparation of meeting minutes\nPrepare engineering and construction work packages as required to support the execution of the project\nInitiate a prompt identification and correction for any engineering issues\nOversee and manage the procurement requisition process, review bids and tendering documents to ensure conformance with the project scope and technical specifications\nDevelop, maintain and coordinate all interfaces with client operations groups\nWork with department managers and Engineering director regarding staffing needs for assigned project\nSupport the identification and pre-qualification of subcontractors\nClearly communicate the engineering scope, including the technology and the design information, with team members in order to meet project requirements\nReview drawings and develop scopes of work\nEstablishes and maintains a climate favorable to the application of ethical and professional practices in the execution of the project engineering work\nWhat your experience looks like\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering\nRegistration as a Professional Engineer or eligible for PE registration is preferred\nMinimum 8-10 years of experience\nPrevious EPC/EPCM experience preferred\nSolid understanding of project management and knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other disciplines/fields\nWorking knowledge of cost, planning and control methods\nProficiency in a variety of standard project management methods and techniques\nAbility to meet assignment schedule & deliver quality products under pressure\nProficient with MS Office software (Word, Excel,
