Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Intermediate Project Technician - Mechanical Systems, Buildings!\nYour work environment at EXP\nEXP is seeking an experienced Project Technician - Mechanical Systems, Buildings to expand the growing building practice in Western Canada.\nBy joining our Buildings practice in Western Canada, you will contribute to the consulting for assessment, design and construction of varied and stimulating projects for a diversified clientele (institutional, municipal, commercial, industrial, public and private).\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nParticipate in the design of mechanical building systems such as ventilation, heating, air conditioning and plumbing.\nConduct field surveys and site reviews to gather information needed to design and update plans.\nProduce survey drawings and design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software, in accordance with project requirements.\nDevelop, modify and update plans, schematics and technical details in accordance with applicable norms, codes and standards as well as internal company standards.\nCollaborate closely with engineers and other disciplines to ensure consistency and optimal integration of mechanical systems into projects.\nParticipate with the basic calculations and the selection of mechanical equipment, in support of the engineer in charge.\nConduct site visits and participate in meetings, as required to verify the general conformance of the execution with the plans and specifications.\nContribute to the preparation and review of technical documentation related to projects.\nEnsure that your knowledge of standards, technologies and tools related to building mechanics is continuously updated.\nWhat your experience looks like\nDiploma in mechanical systems, building or any other training deemed equivalent. \n5-7 years of experience in mechanical systems, ideally in consulting engineering.\nKnowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.\nCuriosity, initiative and willingness to develop your expertise.\nTeam player and ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.\nValid driver's license.\nBasic proficiency in French is required; fluency is considered an asset.\nEXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
