Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Senior Architect/Project Manager-Mission Critical in the Chicago office.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nA Project Leader represents EXP’s interests through effective project leadership and actions that advance the Firm’s mission. The Project Leader speaks for the Firm and conducts themselves in a manner commensurate with a position of leadership within the Firm. Your responsibilities include:\nResponsible for oversight and coordination of design and technical team from Conceptual Design through Construction Documents and Construction Phase. Primary Client Point of Contact.\nWork with Program Manager and Project Manager to stablish project schedules.\nOversight includes in-house team as well as outside subconsultants on multiple projects simultaneously. Oversight of technical coordination with all disciplines, ensuring the project is detailed and executed to maintain the design concept with technical astuteness. \nDevelop presentation documents and participate in presentations to clients.\nTravel to client sites across the US for surveys or client meetings.\nEnsure that designs meet applicable building code and ADA requirements.\nOversee corresponding bid and construction phase activities in the office and in the field.\nAct as a technical resource for project teams.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nBachelor or Master’s Degree in Architecture required\nDetailed knowledge of architectural practice with emphasis client interaction, design development, preparation of construction documents,\nWorking knowledge of specification preparation, building materials, coordination with construction costs, and building codes.\nExperience in construction administration\nPrevious experience with mission critical projects preferred\nAbility to successfully balance client and PM expectations while meeting project deadlines.\nAbility to work in a team & lead a team of designers across multiple disciplines.\nLicensed Architect Required\nMust be proficient with AutoCAD\nProficiency in Revit preferred with a working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketchup\nMinimum of 15 years of experience\nThe salary range for this role is $120,000 to 150,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
