Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Senior Bridge Engineer!\nYour work environment at EXP\nIn this role, you will be a part of the Transportation team, based in Markham, Brampton, or Ottawa, ON office and have the opportunity to work on the various projects.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nPerform project management for the planning, design, rehabilitation and inspection of bridges.\nPrepare the design specifications required for both design of new structures and rehabilitation of existing structures.\nConduct analysis and design calculations as per the applicable codes, standards and regulations.\nLead and manage assigned projects and ensure the achievement of project objectives.\nCoordinate and supervise the appointed technicians and engineers to the project.\nParticipate and contribute in office/region coordination with other disciplines as required, including business development and resource sharing.\nMentor junior designers and provide direction for engineers during various phases of design and construction.\nReview and revise technical documents required to produce the necessary tender documents for construction. \nPrepare tender documents including specifications, quantities and drawings.\nPerform other various activities necessary for the implementation of projects; and participate in proposal preparation.\nWhat your experience looks like\nExperience with design of new structures and rehabilitation of existing structures.\nBachelor's degree in civil engineering and registered as a P.Eng. in Ontario.\n10+ years of relevant experience in construction, design and rehabilitation of bridges.\nMust have experience working with MTO, Cities and municipalities. \nThe ideal candidate will be RAQS registered, certified/able to register for multi-span bridge category with MTO. \nMust have in depth knowledge in the design of bridges and familiar with MTO design guidelines; specifications and standards.\nKnowledge of Finite Element Analysis software; and\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nThis job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization\nThe salary range for this role is between $108,610-$143,972.
