Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Senior Civil Engineer!\nYour work environment at EXP\nEXP is currently searching for a Senior Civil Engineer for our North Bay or Huntsville, ON Office. The environment is fast-paced, and growth orientated, ideally suited for individuals who like to take charge and are driven to build on current successes. The Manager will be required to develop and mentor junior staff, grow the infrastructure business, and take on a lead role in their discipline.\nThe candidate is also expected to perform diversified civil engineering work including design of roads, sewers, watermains, site plans including grading and stormwater management and preparation of construction plans utilizing Civil 3D software and various specialized civil engineering design programs.\nYour Responsibilities\nResponsible for the successful delivery of land development and municipal infrastructure projects to Clients, through the planning, design, construction, and maintenance periods of residential, industrial, and/or commercial developments.\nFoster long-term relationships with Clients and ensure Client satisfaction throughout project life cycle.\nProject scope, budget, and schedule control for development projects.\nMentor and develop junior staff in the office.\nObtain all necessary approvals and permits for projects, including those from municipalities, provincial (Ontario) and federal government agencies.\nEnsure quality control and design standards and compliance is maintained from inception to completion.\nCoordination with multiple stakeholders (e.g., clients, contractors, approving agencies, planners, other consultants, residents, etc.) as necessary to meet project objectives.\nProven experience in facilitating and promoting a climate of internal collaboration of work share between different internal disciplines.\nMeeting internal business metrics and targets; as well as ongoing business development activities with existing and new clients.\nThe Skills and Knowledge You Bring\nMinimum 7 years relevant and demonstrated industry experience.\nCandidate must be a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.\nPossess proven track record of developing relationships, writing, and reviewing competitive proposals.\nExperience working with clients in both the public and private sectors.\nLeadership experience and people management skills, including the ability to develop staff and manage teams in a changing environment is an asset.\nStrategic, analytical and practical thinker.\nAbility to analyze challenges/issues and determine priorities in an environment of tight and conflicting deadlines.\nSolid client development and management skills.\nHelp to attract, grow, and retain top talent.\nKnowledge of Civil 3D.\nExcellent oral and written communications skills.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.\nValid Ontario driver's license.\nThis job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.\nThe salary range for this role is $110K-130K.
