Together, we are EXP.\nAre you ready to design your future?\nBe our next Senior Project Manager!\nYour work environment at EXP\nIn this role you will be a part of the infrastructure group in the Northeast market. We are an entrepreneurial, multidisciplinary firm with a history of successfully delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects across North America. We are currently looking to grow and enhance our transit, rail control systems, structural, roadway, and tunneling practices.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nManage a wide variety and complexity of infrastructure related projects.\nPursue opportunities in the local market and support national pursuits as needed\nDevelop and maintain client relationships\nWork with other senior staff within Infrastructure & Transportation and other practices groups, as necessary, to pursue and deliver a variety of projects\nServe as EXP’s Project Manager on a wide variety of related projects\nMaintain project schedules and manage project financials including profit/loss responsibility and targeted direct margin.\nCoordinate staff required for internal project teams, including directing, coordinating and reviewing work by others.\nPerform design computations, oversee report, plan and specification development and sign and seal construction documents as necessary.\nOversee and approve invoicing/billing and manage project scope and secure change orders as necessary, chase A/R and provide internal reporting as may be required.\nWork with other senior staff within Infrastructure & Transportation and other practices groups, as necessary, to execute project delivery.\nAct as EXP’s representative with the client and subcontractors during projects, negotiations, execution and close-out.\nAssist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for project pursuits.\nDevelop and maintain client relationships.\nWhat your experience looks like\nBS in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.\n10+ years of progressively responsible relevant experience\nLicensed PE in New York\nDemonstrated ability to manage and lead diverse project teams with a strong track record of project delivery from both a technical and financial perspective\nPrior success in pursuing and delivering projects in local market.\nSignificant experience preparing proposals and participating in shortlist interviews.\nKnowledge of work related to delivering projects for with local agencies.\nExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent organizational skills and ability to direct and supervise other engineers, planners and technicians.\nStrong leadership, project management skills and the ability to work in a team environment..\nAbility to mentor staff.\nIndustry participation in professional societies both locally and nationally.\nAbility to travel in both the United States and Canada.\nExperience with tunnel, bridge, highway, track, and systems design elements\nPrior experience building a team or expanding services.\nExperience with local Northeast clients.\nThe pay range for this role is $155,000 to $220,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
