This role offers the opportunity to design educational and healthcare facilities, commercial buildings, and complex projects across Atlantic Canada.\nprojects across Atlantic Canada and beyond.\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\nDesign structural framing systems using steel, concrete, and wood elements.Prepare drawings, specifications, and reports for structural design projects.\n\nPerform structural calculations for existing and new structural framing systems.\n\nComplete facility condition assessments, feasibility studies, and design briefs.\n\nConduct site visits to review existing building systems and review progress of construction.\n\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams and respond to internal/external project inquiries.\n\nWhat your experience looks like\nLicensed Professional Structural Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGNB or Engineers NS, or another provincial regulator.\n\nA minimum of 10 years of experience serving as Engineer of Record.\n\nStrong knowledge of National Building Code of Canada, and CSA standards.\n\nProficiency in Revit/BIM (AutoCAD experience is an asset).\n\nExperience in writing of specifications.\n\nFamiliarity with structural design software, such as ETABS, RISA, and S-FRAME.\n\nExcellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.\n\nThis job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.\nThe actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.\nEXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
