Working closely with cross-functional teams and business leaders, this individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives. The successful candidate will combine strong project management expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and a structured approach to problem solving to drive delivery excellence and organisational alignment.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Planning & Delivery\nLead the end-to-end delivery of complex cross-functional projects, ensuring successful execution against agreed timelines, scope, and objectives.\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, workstreams, dependencies, and resource requirements.\nIdentify and proactively manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies to minimise delivery challenges.\nMonitor project progress and performance, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of blockers.\nDrive accountability across teams to ensure delivery commitments are met and project outcomes are achieved.\nStakeholder Coordination & Governance\nCoordinate cross-functional teams across Product & Technology, Commercial, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholder groups.\nEstablish and manage project governance frameworks, reporting processes, and decision-making forums.\nFacilitate project meetings, steering committees, workshops, and working sessions to ensure alignment and momentum.\nBuild strong relationships across the organisation, fostering collaboration and effective stakeholder engagement.\nProvide clear and concise project updates, risks, decisions, and recommendations to leadership teams.\nProcess Improvement & Operational Excellence\nDrive consistent project management methodologies, tools, and best practices across the SPA organisation.\nIdentify opportunities to improve delivery processes, ways of working, and cross-functional collaboration.\nSupport change management, communication, and adoption activities to ensure successful implementation of project outcomes.\nTrack project benefits and outcomes, ensuring initiatives deliver the expected business value.\nExperience & Qualifications\n5+ years of experience in project management, programme management, operations, business transformation, or related roles.\nProven track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong project management capabilities, including planning, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder coordination.\nExperience managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities while maintaining high quality delivery.\nExcellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to structure and drive complex programmes of work.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and levels of seniority.\nComfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting plans as business priorities evolve.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.\nExperience developing executive-ready project updates, presentations, and status reporting.\nHighly organised, results-oriented, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership.\nExperience in technology, marketplace, or high-growth business environments preferred.\nProject Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum) is advantageous but not required.\nAccommodation requests\nExpedia Group is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible recruiting experience.
