This team develops and optimizes the search form and other critical search entry points for our websites and mobile apps. We leverage cutting-edge technologies like machine learning, natural language processing and AI to bring a personalized experience to our customers. In this role, your expertise and passion for innovation and implementing industry-leading solutions will improve the experience of millions of travelers each year.\nIn this role, you will:\nBuild, enhance, test, and maintain iOS applications that deliver reliable, intuitive experiences for travelers and partners..\nTranslate product requirements into well-structured mobile solutions using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and established iOS development practices..\nContribute to system design, low-level design, API integration, data modeling, and technical decisions within a service or product domain..\nCollaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and quality partners to deliver features from development through production operation..\nApply debugging, testing, monitoring, and operational practices to improve application quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability..\nSafely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve outcomes, while building familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, workflows, and applying AI/ML concepts to real-world products..\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience..\n2+ years of experience in mobile development.\nExperience owning and delivering capabilities within an iOS service, application, or product domain, with the ability to contribute across multiple technical areas as needed.\nProficiency in Swift and core iOS development, including UIKit or SwiftUI, along with experience designing and consuming APIs, modeling data, and applying low-level design principles.\n Experience writing maintainable, testable code and contributing to debugging, code reviews, performance improvement, and production support..\nPreferred Qualifications:\n3+ years iOS software development experience.\nRecent experience and proficiency with SwiftUI.\nWorking knowledge of app architecture and design patterns.\nSelf-starter who is consistently looking to innovate and find ways to enhance our customer’s experience, with ability to own features from end to end.\nExperience with agile development methodologies and working in an agile environment.\nKnowledge of modern iOS development practices, including animation, responsive layouts, and reactive design patterns.\nThe total cash range for this position in Seattle is $119,000.00 to $166,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $190,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.\nStarting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
