We bring Expedia Group’s innovative technology and distribution solutions to partners across the world, including global financial institutions, corporate managed travel programs, offline travel agents, global travel suppliers, and many more.\nThe B2B Controllership team enables organizational and strategic goals through financial intelligence and operational excellence. In this role, you will partner with Account Management, Product, Finance, Technology, and corporate teams to support the growth of Expedia Group’s B2B business. You will serve as a trusted advisor, help strengthen operational processes, and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting for internal and external partners.\nKey Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will:\nParticipate in recurring pipeline reviews, monitor progress, and report status.\nSupport new partner onboarding, including timely contract review and pre- and post-implementation activities.\nIdentify, assess, and communicate partner implementation risks.\nLead the monthly accruals process within Accounting’s month-end close timelines and SOX control requirements.\nPrepare monthly payment and partner marketing fee reporting packages in accordance with contractual requirements.\nAnalyze financial results and investigate transaction-related questions.\nManage the processing of marketing fund invoices.\nMaintain accurate SOX documentation and support compliance activities.\nAnalyze business and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities.\nRecommend, design, and implement scalable, effective, and SOX-compliant process enhancements.\nPresent complex financial concepts and technical information clearly to non-financial partners.\nBuild productive working relationships across internal teams and external partners.\nContribute to ad hoc projects and other priorities as needed.\nExperience and Qualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience.\nThree or more years of professional Accounting, Finance, or Audit experience.\nExperience building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nAbility to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment while maintaining focus on business goals and objectives.\nAdvanced Excel skills, including experience working with large and complex data sets.\nProficient verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.\nPreferred\nPublic accounting experience.\nExperience with SOX controls, financial reporting, month-end close, or audit processes.\nExperience supporting partner contracts, implementation activities, invoicing, or fee reporting.\nExperience improving operational processes through data analysis and scalable solutions.\nExperience working in a B2B, technology, travel, or marketplace environment.\nThe total cash range for this position in Chicago is $76,500.00 to $107,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $122,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.\nStarting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
