We ship behind experiments, measure everything, and treat conversion, reliability, and speed as product features.\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality user interface software that delivers reliable, accessible, and intuitive customer experiences.\n\nTranslate product requirements into scalable technical solutions using modern frontend technologies, applying sound software engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle.\n\nContribute to low-level system design, API design, data modeling, and technical decisions that support maintainable and resilient applications.\n\nCollaborate across engineering, product, design, and other technical domains to deliver outcomes and apply your expertise flexibly across multiple problem spaces.\n\nSafely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve product and engineering outcomes, applying foundational AI/ML concepts to real-world products and workflows.\n\nParticipate in code reviews, automated testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to strengthen software quality, performance, security, and operational reliability.\n\nExperience and Qualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\n2+ years of professional software development experience, including building and maintaining user interface applications.\n\nExperience owning features or components within a service or application, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and support.\n\nProficiency with frontend software development, API integration, data modeling, version control, automated testing, and debugging.\n\nFamiliarity with low-level system design and developing maintainable, reliable, and secure software solutions.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience delivering user interface products at scale, with a focus on performance, accessibility, usability, and operational excellence.\n\nDemonstrated ability to make data-driven technical decisions, diagnose complex issues, and improve the reliability and maintainability of production applications.\n\nExperience contributing to architecture and design decisions across multiple services or technical domains while collaborating effectively with partner teams.\n\nPractical experience using AI-assisted development tools or applying AI/ML concepts to improve real-world product capabilities, engineering workflows, or customer outcomes.\n\nExperience safely integrating, monitoring, and operating AI/ML-enabled features within user interface applications.\n\nAccommodation requests\nExpedia Group is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible recruiting experience.
